Quotes from Ofsted:
Helping Children achieve well and enjoy what they do – outstanding.
“Children acquire new knowledge and skills not only through the Childminder’s skilful interaction with them, but also because she carefully plans structured opportunities for learning through play”.
“Gill Duff provides good quality care for children. Children develop high levels of confidence and self-esteem because they are very comfortable and settled in the provision, and the childminder is fully aware of and always alert to their needs. As a result they are learning the skills needed to become successful learners.”
As a professional childminder I aim to give the children I look after a loving caring and safe environment to be looked after in, while they are away from their parents.
The most important thing is for the children to feel safe and secure at all times. I take all abilities into account in order to stimulate all aspects of their development, social, physical, intellectual, communication and emotional.
I love being a childminder and caring for my little ones, and seeing them develop and thrive, so that they are happy and confident individuals who feel safe and loved in my home and in my care.
