The equipment and toys available in my home will provide opportunities for your child, with my help, to develop new abilities and concepts in the course of their play and exploration. I will ensure that the items are appropriate for their age and level of development. Offer challenges in terms of developing and increasing their social, physical, intellectual, communicative, emotional and sensory skills.
Featuring positive images of people both male and female, from a range of ethnic and cultural groups, with and without disabilities.
I will teach children about different people and cultures, including different clothes and foods. I have teaching cards for numbers and letters and will teach children ABC, and about nature and life. All children have a choice of what they would like to do and will learn through fun and play.
I will provide activities that support the main learning areas:
Creativity
Physical Development
Mathematical and logical thinking
Language and communication
Social and Emotional Development
Knowledge and Understanding of the World.

I am constantly thinking of new ideas to stimulate early learning. I like to encourage the development of each child according to their own, individual, ability levels. My belief is firmly based around learning through play, as it is through playing that children begin to explore and understand their world. I therefore plan as effectively as possible to ensure that children’s play can be rich and effective, and to aid successful learning.
